Octoparase User Review

I have been an Octoparse user for a few months now and I am delighted with the application. I am a real estate agent and I navigate many real estate portals to get the phones of people who sell their houses. It takes me many hours before for I have to filter the data that correspond to data professionals who correspond to individuals. With Octoparse I can do this work in a few minutes.
What I like most about Octoparse is the large number of options offered by the program even in its free version. However, I think Octoparse could improve some of options. For example, I sometimes find it difficult to continue extracting data from pages that display forms to avoid robots. The program should give the option to continue extracting data from where it was stopped the last time it encountered a problem to continue (such as appearance of forms to avoid robots). Maybe this option is already available but either is not easily or complicated to learn or use.
It should also be simplified or the creation of filters for data. For example, what I do is to download all the data to an excel sheet and then filter from the spreadsheet. It would be interesting for the program to filter these data at the time of extraction.
On the other hand, maybe these options that I mentioned are already available. If so, perhaps it would be interesting to reduce the difficulty of learning through the use of explanatory videos.
Finally I would like the program very much to offer the possibility of being translated in different languages like Spanish. This would facilitate the use of the program and its learning. In this way we would find options of use that we think do not exist. In addition, I think that in this way would increase the number of users who would go from the free version to the pro version as they would find the program much easier and more efficient when developing their tasks. It would also be very useful if the tutorial was translated into Spanish as it would greatly facilitate learning and finding solutions to the different problems that we encounter. Soy usuario de Octoparse desde hace unos meses y estoy encantado con la aplicación. Soy agente inmobiliario y navego por muchos portales inmobiliarios para obtener los teléfonos de personas que venden sus casas. Esto me lleva muchas horas porque tengo que filtrar los datos que corresponden a profesionales de los datos que corresponden a particulares. Con Octoparse este trabajo lo puedo realizar en muy pocos minutos.
Lo que más me gusta de Octoparse es la gran cantidad de opciones que ofrece el programa incluso en su versión free. No obstante, creo que se podría mejorar algunas de sus opciones. Por ejemplo, en ocasiones encuentro dificultades en continuar extrayendo datos de páginas que muestran formularios para evitar robots. El programa debería dar la opción de continuar extrayendo datos desde donde se detuvo la última vez que encontró un problema para continuar (como por ejemplo aparición de formularios para evitar robots). Quizá esta opción ya esta disponible pero o no se encuentra afcilmente o es complicada de aprender o utilizar.
También debería simplificarse o la creación de filtros de detrminados datos. Por ejemplo, yo lo que hago es descargar todos los datos a un archo excel y luego filtro desde la hoja de cálculo. Sería interesante que el programa filtrara estos datos en el momento de la extracción.
Por otro lado, quizá estas opciones que he mencionado ya están disponibles. Si fuera así quizá sería interesante reducir la dificultad de aprendizaje mediante la utilización de videos explicativos. Finalmente me gustaría mucho que el programa ofreciera la posibilidad de mostrarse traducido en diferentes idiomas como el español. Esto facilitaría el uso del programa y el aprendizaje del mismo. De esta manera encontraríamos opciones de uso que pensamos que no existen. Además, creo que de esta manera aumentaría el número de usuarios que pasarían de la versión free a la versión pro ya que encontrarían el programa mucha más fácil y eficaz a la hora de desarrollar sus tareas. También sería de gran utilidad que el tutorial estuviera traducido al español ya que facilitaría mucho el aprendizaje y el encontrar soluciones a los diferentes problemas que encontremos.
