📌 What is TikTok Scraper?

TikTok Scraper is an Octoparse template that collects public TikTok video, account, and comment data from three entry points in one task. Enter search queries to get a video list, turn on video details to collect full video records, enter direct video URLs to collect specific videos, and enter profile URLs or handles to collect account data. The same task can also collect the comments and replies posted under those videos.

TikTok is the short-form video platform where trends, creator activity, and audience reactions surface first. Social media marketers, creator-economy teams, agencies, and researchers use this data to track trends, benchmark creators, monitor campaign performance, and review audience sentiment at scale.

TikTok Scraper charges for final output lines. A reply line includes its video and main comment; those repeated fields do not add extra lines. A main comment without collected replies occupies one line. A video without collected comments occupies one line. For example, 100 videos with 20 main comments each and no collected replies produce 2,000 lines, costing $3.00 on Standard. Separate profile inputs produce additional account lines.

📦 Output

TikTok Scraper uses a fixed 101-column layout. Reply rows repeat the matching video and main comment, so you can analyze conversations without joining separate tables. Main comments without collected replies remain comment rows. Videos with no collected comments remain video or search-result rows. Profile inputs remain separate account rows.

With search details turned off, comment and reply rows retain the video ID, URL and search origin, while detail-only fields stay blank. comment_* describes the main comment; reply_* describes the reply. reply_parent_id identifies the directly replied-to comment, while reply_root_id identifies the main comment at the start of that conversation.

⚠️ Limitations

Entering a profile URL or @handle in TikTok Profiles returns account information only. The template does not return that account's video list, so combine a profile input with search queries or direct video URLs when you also need the account's posts.
Results per search query and the two comment controls are request values sent to the data source, not row limits enforced by the template. The number of exported lines can be higher or lower than the number you enter.
TikTok Scraper does not provide separate quantity controls for main comments and replies. If a reply is returned without its main comment, the main-comment ID is retained but unavailable main-comment text stays blank.
