📌 What is Google Maps Email Scraper & Extractor?

Google Maps is where most local businesses keep a public listing with their name, address, phone number, opening hours, ratings, and website.

Google Maps Email Scraper is Octoparse's ready-made template for turning those listings into a contact list: enter business keywords and a location, and it returns each matching business's Google Maps details together with the emails, phone numbers, and social media links published on that business's own website.

Sales teams, agencies, and marketers use it as a Google Maps email finder and extractor to build local lead lists without opening every listing and website by hand.

💰 Pricing

Google Maps Email Scraper costs $0.5 per 1,000 output lines on the Standard plan or higher, and you are billed only for the rows a run returns. This is template-level usage pricing; see Octoparse plan pricing for account-level plans.

📦 Output

Each row combines one Google Maps listing with the contact details found on that business's website. Google Maps Email Scraper returns these fields:

  • Business profile: Title, Category, Description, Rating, Review_Count, Price_Range, Current_Status, Delivery, Additional_info
  • Location: Address, City, State, Country, Latitude, Longitude, Plus_code, Plus_code_URL, Google_id, Place_id, Page_URL
  • Hours and busy times: Open_Time, Open_Time_Monday to Open_Time_Sunday, Popular_times_Monday to Popular_times_Sunday
  • Listing contact: Phone, Website
  • Website contacts: Emails, Phones, Uncertain_Phones, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Tiktok
  • Website visit details: Start_URL, Domain, Depth, Referrer_URL, Current_URL
  • Media: Main_image, Image_1, Image_2, Image_3
  • Run details: keyword, Failed

Phone is the number shown on the Google Maps listing. Phones and Uncertain_Phones come from the business website, where Uncertain_Phones holds digit strings that look like phone numbers and are worth checking before use.

🎯 Use Cases

  • Local lead lists for cold email: search a category such as dentist in a city and load Title, Emails, Website, and Phone into an outreach tool or CRM.
  • Agency prospecting: shortlist businesses with a low Rating or few Review_Count entries, then reach them through Emails or Facebook to offer reputation or marketing services.
  • Social-first outreach: contact businesses through Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, or LinkedIn when they publish no email but keep active social profiles.
  • Market sizing before a campaign: compare how many businesses in a category have a Website or published Emails across several locations to estimate how many leads a region can supply.
  • CRM enrichment: match existing accounts on Place_id or Domain to fill in missing phone numbers, emails, and social links.

🐙 Why Octoparse

  • Listing data and website contacts together: this Google Maps email extractor collects each listing and also looks at the business website for emails, phone numbers, and social profile links, so you skip the manual lookup and copying.
  • Three inputs, no URL list to prepare: enter keywords, a page count from 1 to 50, and a location. Listings that appear under more than one keyword in the same run are collected once.
  • Runs in Octoparse Cloud: the template runs on Octoparse's cloud infrastructure, so a 50-page job keeps going without a browser open on your computer.
  • Connects to your workflow: export results to CSV, Excel, or JSON, or start runs through the Octoparse API or MCP server so new leads flow into your CRM or AI agent.
  • Part of a full web data platform: when you need a different Google Maps dataset, the Templates Gallery has 680+ ready-made templates, and Octoparse Desktop lets you build a custom workflow for any site.

📝 Input

  • Search Term (required): Enter the business keywords to search for, one per line, such as coffee shop or barber shop. Enter keywords only and put the place in Location. A run accepts up to 10,000 keywords.
  • Number of Pages (1~50) (required): Set how many pages of Google Maps results to collect. One page holds about 20 businesses, so 50 pages return about 1,000. The page count applies to the whole run.
  • Location (required): Enter one city, state, or region, such as New York or Los Angeles.

🚀 How to Use

  1. Create an Octoparse account.
  2. Open Google Maps Email Scraper and click Start. The inputs come pre-filled, so you can run a first test right away.
  3. To search for your own leads, change Search Term, Number of Pages (1~50), and Location, then click Start again.
  4. The task runs in Octoparse Cloud. The first results can take 30 to 50 minutes to appear.
  5. Review the rows, then export them to CSV, Excel, or JSON.

⚠️ Limitations

  • Emails, website phone numbers, and social links appear only when the business publishes them on its own website. Listings without a website, or with no contact details on the site, return those fields empty.
  • Emails lists every address found on the website, which can include generic inboxes or placeholder text such as email@example.com, so review the list before outreach.
  • One run returns about 1,000 businesses at most (50 pages of about 20), however many keywords you enter.

💡 Tips

  • Start with 1 or 2 pages to confirm your keyword and location return the right businesses, then raise the page count.
  • Split long keyword lists into several runs when you need full results for each keyword, since the page count is shared across the run.
  • Prefer addresses in Emails whose domain matches the Domain column, as they are more likely to belong to the business itself.
  • When you combine results from several runs, remove duplicates with Place_id.
  • Paste the Page_URL column into Google Maps Reviews Scraper to collect each lead's customer reviews, including review text, rating, and review date, before you reach out.
  • When Emails is empty but Website is filled, enter the business's contact page URL in Email & Social Media Finder to check that page as well.

❓ FAQ

Does Google Maps Email Scraper get emails directly from Google Maps?

No. Google Maps listings do not show email addresses, so Google Maps Email Scraper reads the website linked from each listing and extracts the emails, phone numbers, and social links it finds there into Emails, Phones, and the social media columns.

Will every business in the results have an email address?

No. Google Maps Email Scraper returns an email only when the business publishes one on its own website. Businesses without one still come back with their Google Maps details, such as Phone, Address, and Rating.

What is the difference between Phone, Phones, and Uncertain_Phones?

Phone is the number shown on the Google Maps listing. Phones holds numbers found on the business website, and Uncertain_Phones holds digit strings from the website that look like phone numbers and should be checked before use.

Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok, each in its own column, when the business links to those profiles from its website.

How many businesses can one run return?

Up to about 1,000. Each page of Google Maps results holds about 20 businesses and Number of Pages goes up to 50. The limit applies to the whole run, so split large keyword lists across several runs.

Why is the scraper taking time to show the first rows of data?

Google Maps Email Scraper opens each business listing and then visits its website to look for emails and social links, so it spends more time per record than a scraper that only reads the search results list. The first rows can take 30 to 50 minutes to appear because results are shown after the initial extraction step finishes, and the total run time grows with the number of results you request.

How is Google Maps Email Scraper different from Google Maps Scraper?

Google Maps Email Scraper is built for contact leads, while Google Maps Scraper is built for detailed place data:

  • Contacts: Google Maps Email Scraper visits each business website and returns Emails, Phones, Uncertain_Phones, and six social profile links. Google Maps Scraper does not collect website contacts.
  • Place details: Google Maps Scraper adds fields such as Postal_Code, Street, Neighborhood, Reviews_Distribution, Review_keyword1 to Review_keyword10, and Q&As in FAQ1 to FAQ10.
  • Inputs: Google Maps Scraper lets you choose the Google Maps language, set the number of places per search term, and turn Q&A collection on or off. Google Maps Email Scraper uses one page count, from 1 to 50, for the whole run.
  • Price: Google Maps Email Scraper costs $0.5 per 1,000 output lines, and Google Maps Scraper costs $2 per 1,000 rows.

Can I use Google Maps Email Scraper through an API?

Yes. You can start the template and collect its results through the Octoparse API or the MCP server, using the same Search Term, Number of Pages, and Location inputs.

Google Maps Email Scraper collects contact details that businesses publish publicly, but you are responsible for how you store and use them. Check the laws that apply to your outreach, such as GDPR, CCPA, or CAN-SPAM, and Google's terms before you run a campaign. For a broader overview, see Is Web Scraping Legal?
