      "prefill": "[music] [music] [music] Well, hello and welcome back to Poshcast Camping. We have come to a show and this is a show that we really like. It's the motor home and camper van show at CSI in Norolk uh which is just outside Norwich. We've not been for a couple of years. Uh we've been at the Shotley rally which normally falls on the same weekend but we've come along with Sher and Joe, Nick and Carol and uh a whole bunch of other people. We've actually parked in the compound here on the field here with the Norolk Center of the Caravana and Motor Home Club and uh made us very welcome here. So, we're in the field which is not too far from the show from the actual show which is within the showground if that makes sense. I think it was around about 94 or 95 for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Saturday and Sunday night camping and also tickets to get in the show for the whole weekend for for the two of us. So, um that's not a bad deal, is it? Um there's no hookup, so we're running on solar, lots of it up in the sky today. It's a beautiful day, and there's a lovely cool Norfolk breeze, which is just making it comfortable. We get drawn to these things, don't we? We really do. They got the little canopy up. Look. Ain't that lovely? Beautifully restored. And around the front of the old bunting and it's for sale. 52 grand. >> Yeah. Look at that. >> Yeah. E- ridge. Now, what would that be? Come on, guys. >> Yeah. >> Be what? 60 68 something like that. >> Beautiful thing, is it? >> Can't afford it though. We ain't got enough pocket money this weekend. >> How did they make a bed in there? They never got like a rock. >> You got your new bowl. >> I think [laughter] it's going to fit. >> Yeah. But it's uh nicely sealed and plenty of elbow room, but it's all wet room. >> But you haven't got a lot of living. Oh. Oh, you have got this area. That's quite nice, isn't it? >> The kitchen's nice. I like this big. >> Really nice quality wooden tops. >> It's a really big bed, Trev. Yeah. Yeah. We see it's a huge bed. >> And there's two little built-in comi oven. Look, >> they got a pole and two tables like we had in Smurf. This is nice, isn't it? This worktop. I like that. >> Yeah, I just picked that up myself. >> And the TV's on the end. >> Electric thing in here, haven't you? >> Yeah, that's a popup. >> Yeah, pop-up electrics. And the microwave just next to your head there. >> Yeah. >> So, it's very snug, but that's uh got loads of kit, ain't you? >> This sofa is nice. Nice little um cupboard space up here. >> I like the windows. >> Yeah, the tints. I mean, that is that is nice. I would have liked that on Smurf. Really? >> Fan. >> Yeah. And overhead fan. So, there's plenty of equipment, isn't there? >> You've got an extension to your work as well. >> That's a nice van. >> Lift up. >> Now, I'm going to tell you the price in a minute. That might put you off, love. >> I've still had much. So, >> yeah, that's got cab blinds in it. Let's just have a quick look from from this end of the bed and then we'll move on cuz there's plenty of storage in here as well and little occasional tables as well. So yeah, looks really nice. If you're drawing another TV in here as well just here, >> don't know if you can see that. £135,000. So uh that's put me off. It's got an inverter. >> Bit tight these days. >> Times are hard. That there's some lovely little uh little um day vans, camper vans, these little wither popups. So many of them there. So quite liked having a smart car like this one. And this is your sink. >> Excellent. >> And lots of cupboards. Look. >> That's definitely taken uh >> I like the wooden I like the wood. >> Definitely taking trailer tents to the next level, isn't it? >> Yeah. Storage under here. Look. >> I think that's lovely. All road fully. >> This just goes to show what equipment you get now. >> That's a built-in air pump. So you just press a button. >> So you got two bedrooms. >> Yeah. And if you're interested in the trailer team, have a word with Speeds Campers. >> And there's their website right there. >> At this point in the show, we visited a stand called Bosway Motor Homes and we uh were really surprised by the innovation. Quite a new company certainly to us. We hadn't seen them before and good website which I'm showing you now. We had a chance to speak to the chap on the stand. I'm sorry I didn't catch your name. And he told us about some of the features on these vans. Quite unique and very interesting. Some of these names we haven't seen before. Um Bosway, give a quick look cuz um we have got an awful lot of other vans we want to see. But we're looking at much more reasonable price of 70,000 and uh really quite a nice quite a nice van. Got wet room there. And we'll have a quick look down the back. >> Isn't that nice breeze? >> Nice breeze. Yeah, that is a bit breezy today. I hope they're not picking up. >> You'd have to make it up into a double bed, wouldn't you? >> Yeah, you'd have to make a double bed here. >> Good size television. Look at the size. Lovely. >> Good telly there, isn't they? here. >> Window this side >> covers. >> So nice rear lounge and we've got opening them windows on the back doors which is a nice touch. >> Good size sink. >> What sort of sink is that Suzie? >> That's a an oval one. >> That's like a black enamel. >> Enamel one. Yeah. Okay, that's cool. >> And they got a proper oven. >> Yeah. >> And storage cupboards under. >> And then the washroom's a wet room. >> Yeah, I see that. I thought it was very reasonably priced actually. >> Yeah. >> And the lockers on the top. >> Yeah, we got a fridge by the door so you can get your beers. >> Let's have a look and see if there's any um storage down the side here. >> No, that's At least you got that living area there. >> Your toilet there, of course. Um >> yeah, these are >> Yeah, I imagine there's plenty of storage underneath the bed. >> Four seat belts. Yeah, big storage area there. Probably the boilers under four seat belt. There's two four seat belts in total. >> Okay. >> This is like a dinette. >> Yeah. So, you got travel seats and a dinette. >> And that's a manual. >> Excellent. Just having a look at the boards here. There's so much new innovative stuff on this van. That's really interesting. And uh we're looking at a very good price, £85,000. Um, a lot of work gone into uh developing this conversion. Quite a strike and livery as well. With a pop top. Didn't mention that earlier, did I? And a canopy as well. So, lots of equipment on here. Plorns on the back and a rear lounge bed, of course. your fire. >> This is a invisible induction hob. Um, and it operates through this worktop. So, what you would do is it's got two burners. You cook on the rubber mat. It would it would uh like boil your pan, boil your pasta, whatever. Once you take the pan off and the rubber mat off, >> the induction the worktop is completely cold. Um, so you've still got all that usable worktop space without having like a sink, a glass hob, and then only that much. in all of it. >> So in a worktop space is valuable in a van like this size and you can use it all watching. >> Absolutely. Now that invisible is the word, isn't it? >> Invisible. Exactly. So it's not a glass top like you see in all the other vans. This operates through this worktop. This is a highax worktop. So it feels like stone, but actually it's a recycled plastic. Um so it stays cold even after you cook it. >> Fabulous. I've seen induction hops, but that's taking it to the next level. >> Exactly. Exactly. So, what about the under floor heating you were telling me? >> Yeah. So, this this vehicle also has under floor heating, but that's not the the niche. This heating is infrared, so it could actually be in the walls or in the ceiling. This happens to be under floor in this one. Your body absorbs infrared heat. Um, so we have um we have under floor heating all the way through here. Your body absorbs that heat, but the beauty about this one is that it's 12vt. So, there's no loss through an inverter or something like that on a 240 volt system. This is direct from the leisure battery. Uses about 10 to 12 amps of power. Um, there's a 300 amp lithium battery in this one. And again, you set it in the same way as you would in your house. Set a thermostat. Uh, set the temperature and your body will absorb that heat, but you're not wasting energy by heating air around you like you would on a conventional system because this is using infrared. Yeah. So, I mean, people are going to be worried about batteries, of course. >> Yes. Um I mean we we've got experience of 200 hours and we know that we can cope nicely with that. >> Yes. >> Do you have a compressor fridge in here? >> Uh yeah. So compressor fridge on the end here. >> Um fairly large one. Um so we put 300's in as sort of as pretty much a standard conversion but obviously we can go much bigger than that, you know, 628 for instance. Um so if they were really power hungry offering for a really long period of time then you could. There is solar on this van as well and obviously you've got the DC charger as well. So, um, but yeah, in general, this one doesn't have an oven, so it only has the induction hob and a microwave instead. Um, so yeah, it is all electric, but again, you can probably use the hob for say 20 minutes, use a microwave for 3 minutes or something. So, you're not it's not a constant draw for a long period of time. So, normally 300 is pretty sufficient for people to be off grid for a few days. >> Yeah. My viewers will know that the jury is over at the moment for us cuz this is our first full season with Vivian. >> Yeah. So we're we're looking at the app and saying, \"Oh, how much can you use today?\" But that's really getting on okay with it with your two risug. >> So we we've as long as you try and stick to the 12vt stuff as much as you can rather than you know people try and plug in their laptops for instance on a 240, but you can often get an adapter that makes it like work for a car for instance. So if you can try and use as much 12 volt as you can, it will prolong the life of that. Yeah. Yeah. For sure. >> If you're converting with using >> an inverter, >> an inverter. >> Yeah. Anything through an inverter, you're going to get lost. So the the most you can stay away from that, the better. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> Good stuff. Um a dealership that we know very well and we've got a good working relationship with have invited us to do some filming. So, we've um very happy to do so. They've got quite a lot here this weekend. Few are sold. Um there are a few sold vans, but they're still allowing us to have a good look. There's one over here that was drawn to my attention under 60,000. It's an auto trail expedition. And we're going to take a quick look at that in a minute, aren't we? So, so it's a Fiat Tato. This is brand new. And as I say, under well under 60,000 uh >> 57,000 and >> this 3 years freehation service which is is is worth near to £1,000 actually over the 3 years and uh >> so it's got your rear lounge. >> There we are. So we think this is a 6 m van >> and you got a nice little rear lounge roof light. >> Plenty of windows in the back so >> Yeah. And then we've got lockers >> two burner hob. >> Yeah. >> And a little sink. >> Okay. >> And extension to the worktop. >> Yeah. >> And then you've got the >> dual oven. It's a grill and an oven and it and all this storage >> underneath. >> Mhm. >> And then the washroom has got a curtain. >> Shall I come around? I'll come around the other side. >> Best to with a drop down sink. a sort of ash colored wood. There we >> are. >> So, it's a wet room, but you've got a curtain and a drop down sink. It >> hasn't got put the curtain on so that the water doesn't come onto the wooden door and into the lounge, don't >> you've got your swivel seats in the cab. And this looks like it's an automatic. >> Yes, it is an automatic. Yeah. >> Is Is this free? >> That's good for that price, isn't it? Yeah. >> Is this a compressor? >> Not sure, lovey. Nice size fridge, though. It's a slim line, >> but and and again, we had this with with Smurf. It's nice to have the fridge raised off the floor in a little camper van. Oh yeah. >> Storage there for your spatulas and things. >> That's right. Yeah. A split drawer. That's very good. >> Nice and secure. >> Yeah. >> You like it? >> I like it. I think it's a very functional little van for that money. I think that's a >> nice big display screen in the cab as well. >> Yeah. >> Must have a set now. >> And there are um cab blinds >> which again you don't always see a bonus um on a on a budget van. >> No. But um some little shelves for putting things little around here, just a small lip really, but um you'd be surprised what you can tuck in them. Well, we thought for roughly the same money, £60,000 this one. It's a used van. It's a 2019 plate. Again, we're still at Simpsons of Great Yarmouth on their stand. And um this is a Fiat uh Dato on a um coach built. >> I'm going to go in and have a look. There's a little Looks like there's a nice garage. Nice family van. >> Be nice for a family. >> We're miked up. So I didn't hear what you said. >> That's a nice family van. >> Oh, cool. >> You've got four seat belts, haven't you? That's good. >> With with having granddaughters and and being back in sort of family mode with children, we suddenly realize just how much you need when you've um >> you've got a family. We've got a roof light above there and a fan on that one. >> That's right. >> So, you get a lot for your money, don't you? >> I think that's a Kraken van for a little >> family. Yeah. >> And that's not too big as well. >> That's not too big, this van. That's probably I'm I'm guessing there, but I think this is about a 7 1/2 m van. Um, which is manageable. Good size windows up the front here as well >> to let the light in and for you to be able to >> Oh, this has that come out of my >> the view. >> What's this? >> I'm just being nosy. >> Yeah, must be a locker under there. Storage space under there, I would think. >> Yeah. >> And there's a little cupboard under there as well by the looks of it as well. >> Good. Let's have another quick look outside. So, we're saying now this is 7 m long. 695 is the model number. We think that's 7 m long. canopy on the top and a bike rack on the back. So, there's a lot of kit with this. >> Um, I think that's that's great value. >> There's D-rings in here as well, Trev. So, you can lift these up, >> the slats up, can't you? >> Yeah, that's right. >> Put it out the way. And there's some D-rings for your bikes. >> Excellent. So, you could put bikes in there. >> Yeah. >> Well, who' have thought? Uh [snorts] this side you got your usual um uh there's a shower here. Look shower. That's a shower point, your toilet emptying point and uh your water filling point. And then there's a your electric hookup point there. And that's coming with these lovely shiny door handles. Look at them. Which matches the mirror covers. Why not, eh? bit of bling. Moving to an auto trail now. Uh £55,000. This is a slightly shorter van on a 24 plate. So, this is just 2 years old. Again, 3 years freehation. Let's have a look. It's the F62 model. >> It's going to be a two. I thought I'd have thought so. >> It's nice and open, isn't it? >> Oh, yeah. Nice open lounge. >> You got storage in the front. It's nice and bright. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. And you could easily fit what? Two. >> You can fit about seven people in here, couldn't you? >> I would think so. >> These must automatic again. >> Yeah, >> automatic. And these this has got a little bit more modern feel about it >> being only 2 years old. the the catchers and the lockers, the overhead sort of aircraft lockers feel and the height in here. >> You know, there's if you're a 6footer plus, you're not going to feel like you're uh >> that's a pushup >> ceiling that's coming down at you. >> And then you've got a fan in the other one. >> Yeah. >> And it's got a nice kitchen. >> It's nice, isn't it? >> There you go. Nice uh leatherrett seats and uh with a cloth panels. >> You got your Russell hobs microwave. Microwave again. Yeah. Yeah. >> And then you've got three gas burners. >> Microwave. Something we don't have, but we thought about getting >> good deep sink. You got all this space here. >> Nice worktop at the end there. >> Yeah. >> Yeah, sure. >> And lots of cupboards. >> So, if you like cooking, this could be your kitchen, couldn't it? >> If you like to cook in your van. >> In here. You got your full size table. >> Table storage >> in there. And then more cupboards in there. You put your tins in there. baked beans. >> Yeah. >> And storage under here and a pull out cutlery tray, which is nice, isn't it? Nice wooden one. >> Yeah. >> Brilliant. >> They go back quite a long way. And then you've got storage under here as well. >> Yeah. >> And then all these cupboards here, there's loads of storage. >> There is. >> So that's a hanging rail. >> That's a big wardrobe. Yeah. >> It's really good. >> And then you got these I love these big seats >> for entertaining. >> Yeah, they're nice long benches. You You couldn't use that as a bed. You'd have to make it in a double. >> You have to make it into a double bed. >> I think you would. Although people do turn the seats round and put the feets up on the seats during the day, you could probably sleep like that, but we would prefer make it up into a double. Um, and I suppose if anything else, the only downside I can see, you got to make your bed up at night. But, um, with a nice compact >> fly screen as well. >> Flo. Yeah. >> And you got storage here for your magazines. >> Clever, isn't it? >> Great. It does feel very spacious in here. >> And I expect you get a broly.
