Overview

Public comments on a Trustpilot company page show how customers describe a business, what rating they gave, and whether the company replied. This Data App turns the public comment area of one company domain into a consistent dataset with comment text, titles, ratings, reviewer details, verification signals, and company replies.

The result is suited to repeatable brand and reputation analysis rather than scrolling a public profile. It keeps the original wording and connects each comment to the company, the reviewer, and the published time, making it easier to compare ratings, spot recurring themes, and inspect how the company responds.

Data notes

The data covers comments that are publicly visible on the supplied Trustpilot company domain at collection time. Records are ordered from newest to oldest by Published at. Each normal record is identified by its Comment ID, which is used to remove duplicates. Private, unpublished, and removed comments are outside the coverage.

Rating, Like count, Company score, Verified review, and Verification level are snapshots and may change after collection. Count values, flags such as Homepage flag, and category text are retained as source text rather than converted into numbers. Published at, Collected at, Experience date, and Reply published at preserve the source timestamps without inferring a timezone. Keyword, Business ID, and Source item may repeat the submitted company domain when that is what the source record carries. No data retains the collection outcome when a domain has no public comment result.

Each normal record represents one publicly visible comment from the selected Trustpilot company domain.

Additional values include reviewer country and language, company name and score, verification signals, company replies, collection timestamps, and the no-data outcome.

Use cases

Compare Comment text with Rating and Like count to identify comments that combine strong wording with visible engagement.
Group Comment text and Comment title by Language or Author country to see how feedback differs across markets.
Review Company reply and Reply published at together with Rating to see how the company responded to critical or highly rated comments.
Use Verified review and Verification level with Company score to separate verified comments from other public feedback.

Scope and boundaries

Each run collects comments for one Trustpilot company domain. The expected comment count is 1 to 200. Results are returned in complete batches of 20, so the actual count may be rounded up. At most 10 pages are fetched. Only publicly visible comments at collection time are covered.

When you need comments from more than one company in a single run — submit a separate run for each domain

Failure handling

Failure and retry behavior declared by the author. We recommend including it in your system prompt when integrating.

1If no comments are returned, verify the company domain matches the public Trustpilot listing and that comments are visible, then retry
2Retry later after rate limiting, temporary service unavailability, or a timeout
3When the submission outcome is unknown, avoid immediate repeated submissions that could create duplicate tasks
4If authentication fails, verify the API Key configured for the execution environment
