Overview

Amazon Reviews Scraper for France turns known Amazon product identifiers into a review-level dataset for customer-feedback research. Each row keeps the product context beside the review itself, including the product and review ratings, reviewer name, title, written feedback, date, verification marker, helpful-vote text, image links, and the source addresses needed to inspect the original page.

The resulting table brings qualitative comments and visible rating signals together in one place. That makes it useful as a research base when a team needs to understand why shoppers respond positively or negatively, compare feedback themes across products, or retain traceable evidence for a product-quality review without copying individual review pages by hand.

Data notes

Records come from publicly visible customer-review pages on the France marketplace and reflect what those pages displayed when collection took place. Each record represents one collected review for one ASIN, and the individual review address is used to distinguish reviews across retrieved result pages. Product rating and product review count are page-level snapshots repeated beside each review; they can change after collection. Review rating, verification status, helpful-vote count, date, country, and image links are preserved as displayed text rather than normalized values. A blank value means that the public review record did not expose that detail. Deleted, restricted, sign-in-only, or otherwise unavailable reviews are not covered.

What the results look like

Each record represents one public product review:

B0F3CQCFJ7Qualité top mais enroulage a améliorer3,0 sur 5 étoilesFsFsFalseCommenté en France le 2 novembre 2025

The output also includes “Product name,” “Brand,” “Product rating,” “Product review count,” “Review content,” “Helpful vote count,” “Review image URLs,” “Reviewer country,” “Review URL,” “Reviews page URL,” and “Collection message.”

Use cases

  • For product-quality reviews, group “Review rating” and read “Review title” with “Review content” to identify recurring strengths, defects, and usage problems.
  • For trust-signal analysis, compare “Verified purchase” with “Review rating” and “Helpful vote count” to see how source-reported verification and usefulness markers vary across feedback.
  • For product comparisons, use “ASIN,” “Product name,” “Product rating,” and “Product review count” to separate review-level opinions from the aggregate product snapshot.
  • For evidence review, retain “Review URL” and “Reviews page URL” beside “Review author” and “Review date” so analysts can trace a record back to its public context.

Scope and boundaries

Each run accepts 1 to 100 Amazon ASINs; an optional start date can limit review recency, and an optional per-product cap accepts values from 1 to 10,000. Only publicly accessible Amazon France review data is covered.

  • Good for
  • Use it when you need structured public Amazon France reviews for one or more known ASINs.
  • Use it for product-feedback research, rating comparisons, review-topic analysis, or verified-purchase checks.
  • Do not use for
  • Do not use it to discover products by keyword because it requires known ASINs.
  • Do not use it when complete coverage of deleted, restricted, signed-in-only, or otherwise unavailable reviews is required.

Failure handling

Failure and retry behavior declared by the developer. We recommend including it in your system prompt when integrating.

  1. 1If a run stops before completion, retry the same small ASIN set once; if it stops again, reduce the number of ASINs or the per-product review cap.
  2. 2An empty result can mean an ASIN is invalid, has no publicly visible reviews, or the review page was temporarily unavailable; verify the ASIN and retry later.

Integration

This App can be integrated via MCP, API, SDK, or file export. All channels share the same capabilities and pricing. Every request authenticates with the Authorization: Bearer header using an API key (long-lived, created in the Data Hub Console); MCP clients can also sign in with OAuth, no key required. More options such as CLI and Skill are on the way. This App runs asynchronously and can be canceled midway: After you cancel, the run stops. Records already delivered are kept and billed.

With the MCP (Model Context Protocol), you can call this App directly from AI clients like Claude and Cursor. Pick your client and auth mode, then copy the config below.

Client config

Replace the value after Bearer with your long-lived API key. Works in any client, CI, or headless environment.

mcpServers config
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "octoparse_datahub": {
      "type": "http",

      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer <YOUR_API_KEY>" }
    }
  }
}

Let AI set it up for you

Don't want to edit configs by hand? Copy the install prompt and paste it into any AI client. It will complete the setup its own way. (The prompt asks the AI to request your API key from you, so credentials never end up in chat history or shared configs.)
