You can fill either input field or both. At least one valid keyword or Google Maps search URL is required for a task.

Number of Pages to Scrape (1~100)

Set how many result pages to process for each input item. One page attempts to return up to about 20 places, two pages up to about 40, and so on. Actual availability depends on Google Maps, and duplicate places are removed before output.

How to Use

  1. Open the template and create a cloud task.
  2. Enter search keywords, Google Maps search URLs, or both.
  3. Set Number of Pages to Scrape (1~100).
  4. Start the task. The cloud browser needs time to start and load the first Google Maps results page.
  5. Review rows as they appear progressively during the run, then export the completed dataset.

Limitations

  • Google Maps results, ratings, review counts, opening hours, images, and business status can change between runs.
  • Google Maps may return fewer places than the theoretical page limit.
  • Different keywords or map locations can overlap. During normal operation, the scraper keeps one result per Place ID in the current task.
  • If automatic duplicate removal is temporarily unavailable, collection continues so that captured data is not lost; duplicate rows may then appear.
  • The first row is not instantaneous because the cloud browser and the first Google Maps request must finish before extraction begins.
  • Review Google Maps terms and applicable laws before collecting or using data.

  • Start with a small page count to confirm that the keyword or URL targets the intended area.
  • Use specific keyword-and-location combinations to improve relevance.
  • Use Google Maps search URLs when the exact map center or regional context matters.

Can I use keywords and Google Maps URLs in the same task?

Yes. Fill either input field or both. The scraper processes all valid input items in the same task.

How are duplicate places identified?

The template uses Google Maps Place ID as the unique location identifier and normally returns one row for each Place ID within the current task.

Why did I receive fewer rows than the page limit suggests?

Google Maps may return fewer available places, and overlapping keywords or URLs can find the same Place ID. Duplicate locations are removed before output during normal operation.

Why does the task take time before the first row appears?

The cloud browser must start and load the first Google Maps results page. Once extraction begins, results are uploaded progressively instead of waiting for the entire task to finish.

Does a Google Maps URL behave exactly like a similar keyword?

Not always. A Maps URL can contain a specific map center, zoom level, Google domain, language, or regional context, so its results may differ from a text keyword.

What happens if a field is unavailable on Google Maps?

The field may be empty or contain the template's existing empty-value representation. Availability varies by place and by what Google Maps returns at run time.
