# Get the manifest spec (JSON Schema)

> Machine-readable form of the manifest spec (spec 0.2, JSON Schema
2020-12).

For coding assistants / editors / third-party validators: returns the
exact manifest.schema.json the platform validates against — the spec
is the implementation, so there is no second truth of field tables
copied into docs.
