As a small business owner I have to divide my time doing several tasks. I checked for other scraping solutions but I need a lot of divergent jobs done like information scraping and price scraping. I cannot afford to get separate crawlers for all of these solutions (let stand for all different competitors). The easy configuration, with the nice instruction videos on Youtube, enabled me to quickly execute all different kinds of scraping tasks. In addition, I was happy with the IP proxy and IP rotation.

I think the overall price of Octoparse is really affordable for the solution you get and I would definitively recommended it to my friends.

There are still a lot of other tutorials I would like to head back to and smooth over to really utilize Octoparse more fully. And also if you are a beginner like me, the step by step tutorial will blow you away. It not only adopts from the traditional sense of tutorial videos or page by page scroll via a table of content. Octoparse literally shows you where to click on button by button within the software. Now to me, that is what I call robust visual learning.

Easy Web Scraping with Octoparse|Web Crawler Software Review

I needed a way to extract data from a dynamic webpage for a college project. The page hosts timetables - over 500 of them - each one generated using a number of comboboxes. Having test run some rival software I finally settled on Octoparse; it was the only software that was simple enough for a complete novice to use, but sophisticated enough to handle what I needed.

It took me about a day to look into all available web scrapers. At the end stopped on Octoparse for couple reasons. No nodejs learning or programming needed.
