Octoparse Smart Mode
All you need to do is to paste in a URL and Octoparse 6.2 will get all the data in seconds:
- Get data from website with just 1 click, no coding, no training.
- The only thing you need to do is to enter a URL that has the data you want.
- Instantly turn web pages into a structured table of data.
- Every one can get data using Smart Mode.
Ad Blocking
Now Octoparse 6.2 has this brand new feature to help you get rid of annoying ads including banners, pop-ups, etc when scraping website using Octoparse.
To use Ad Blocking feature, you simply choose Ad Blocking to block pop-up ads in Set up Basic Information step, or choose it in the Advance Options of “Go To Web Page”.
Incremental Extraction — Get Updated Data with Clicks
After you’ve set up an extraction rule for a website, you may need the updated data again from that website besides the data from previous extraction. Incremental Extraction in Octoparse 6.2 allows you to extract the updated data without having to configure another rule to do this. It’s only available for Cloud Extraction.
Using the Incremental Extraction technique to extract updated data:
. You don’t need to configure another rule to extract the new data.
. Updated data is identified by new URLs that are generated by new pages.
Performance Improvements
Optimized Export Feature performance and resolved the unexpected export errors.
Note: Updating or re-installing Octoparse new version won’t affect your data.
